Uxmal Malbec

TASTING NOTES

Colour: Deep red with violet hues.
Nose: Red and black berry fruit from our vineyards in Luján de Cuyo. Floral hints from higher altitude vineyards in Tupungato and La Consulta (Uco Valley).
Mouthfeel: Unctuous and velvety. Intense red berries with subtle vanilla and chocolate oak hints.
Food Pairing: Grilled beef, semi- hard cheeses and pasta.

Harvest Date Luján de Cuyo: End of March. Tupungato and La Consulta : 1-15 th April.
Fermentation Selected yeast, Max. Ferm. Temp: 25-27ºC for 10 days. 10 days maceration
Aging 20% American and 80% French oak
Alcohol 13,5% vol
Acidity/pH 5,60 / 3,75 g/l
Sugar 3,15 g/l
